"To Know Christ And To Make Christ Known"
We have an active Children's Guild program for those 4-17 which is held during our 9:15 a.m. service. The children rejoin their parents for communion to receive the sacrament or a blessing. If desired at any time, a comfort room for parents and their children is located on the lower level. Access is by the stairs at the back of the Church. A change station, rocking chair and play pen are also located in this area.
VBS Vacation Bible School
Music Program
The Choir meets Thursday evenings from September to June to practice the hymns and service music and to expand their repertoire. All singers of either gender and every age are welcomed. If you play an instrument we would welcome its use to enhance our worship.
Pastoral Care
A team of lay people provides home visits to memebers who are sick or shut-in. They also host special Communion and tea events through the year, when we bring our Seniors to the Church to worship together and to enjoy each other's company over light refreshments.
Circle Of Christian Women
We meet in the evening once a month in St. George's Parish Hall for fellowship, mutual support and to have some fun. Guest presenters speak on a variety of topics from mission and outreach to maintaining mental health and creating Christmas centre pieces. Every woman is encouraged to come and to suggest to the group topics or events that would inspire and engage the members.
Worship And Support
Lay people are active in our worship as Lay Readers, Lectors, Greeters, Severs, Intercessors, Members of the Altar Guild and in providing technical support. Volunteers are welcome and training is provided to all interested.
Every summer around mid July we host a Vacation Bible School, open to any child in the community.

Throughout the year we host many fundraiser's and special events such as the Strawberry Social, Apple Pie Fundraiser, Fall Supper, Candlelight Tea, Choral Concerts, Youth Vigil and more. We welcome all volunteers who wish to pitch in.

St. George's Cemetery
St George's Cemetery is located on 2nd Dughill road in a beautiful Pastoral setting created to encourage reflection and remembrance of loved ones. The cemetery is open to all who wish a Christian burial or the interment of ashes. We are actively seeking volunteers for the board to continue the work of further beautifying this sacred place.
Below are the various ministries run by St. George's Church, if you are interested in participating or require further information on any of these ministries please email us via the contact us tab at the top right of this page.
